Where do you work?
We are based in St Asaph, North Wales and also work in Chester, Manchester, Merseyside, Shropshire and London. Share your project postcode so we can confirm whether we can help at your address.
Will I need planning permission?
Some garden buildings may qualify as permitted development, but that depends on the proposed building and the site. We can discuss the design with you and help identify whether planning advice or permission is needed.
What about foundations and uneven ground?
A suitable base is part of the design. Ground conditions, access, drainage, levels and building size all affect the choice. Sloping plots can often be considered with an appropriate foundation system.
Can a garden room be used all year?
SIP garden rooms can be suitable for year-round use when properly designed and built. Insulation, glazing, heating and the way you will use the space should all be discussed for your project.
Can you include electrics?
The team can arrange electrical connection through its suppliers, including certification. Tell us what lighting, heating and equipment you expect to use so the specification can account for them.
How much maintenance will the exterior need?
That depends on the cladding. Composite is generally low maintenance, while cedar and treated timber weather differently and may be treated to retain a chosen appearance. We can talk through the options.
